Background
Information
 | Nimesh N. Patel is a consultant
otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon with
a specialist interest in head, neck and
facial cancers, snoring and sleep apnoea,
voice disorders, laser surgery and sinus
surgery.
Having graduated in medicine from Manchester
University he underwent basic surgical
training in Manchester and London. He
obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College
of Surgeons of England in Otolaryngology
with Surgery in General in 1997. He then
specialised in Otolaryngology, training in
London for the next six years. He obtained
the Specialist Intercollegiate Fellowship in
Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in
2002. He completed fellowships at the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA and
the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide,
Australia (head and neck surgery, sinus
surgery).
In August 2003 Mr Patel began practice as a
consultant otolaryngologist-head and neck
surgeon at Southampton University Hospitals
NHS Trust and Lymington Hospital.
Mr Patel is a trustee of Headline
(Southampton Head and Neck Cancer Charity
Fund). He has been cited in Who’s Who
in Medicine. |
