Background
Information
| I am a consultant ENT surgeon at
Southampton University Hospitals trust, and
Specialist regional advisor in ENT in
Wessex, for the Royal College of Surgeons
and Wessex Deanery.
My training in ENT commenced at the Royal
Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, and then as
Registrar and Senior Registrar at St. Marys
Hospital London. I finished my training with
a year at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and
Brisbane Royal Childrens Hospital,
Queensland, Australia.
Together with a general ENT practice, I have
specialised in the treatment of Head and
Neck conditions such as parotid surgery,
Head and Neck cancer, and benign and
malignant head and neck masses.
I have developed a substantial interest in
paediatric ENT surgery, including airway
problem, neck lumps, tonsillar enlargement
and chronic infection and glue ear.As the
first ENT training program director in
Wessex, and now as specialist regional
advisor, I have had a substantial role in
the training of many consultant ENT surgeons
who now work throughout the United Kingdom,
and overseas. |
